I sometime get reminded of a certain story, that my grandpa use to tell me.

The story of a Hen that lay Golden Eggs. It goes like this.

Once upon a time, there used to be a farmer that had Hen, that used to lay, one golden egg every day. The Farmer used to be very happy after the hen lay the egg as he would sell it off and get a bunch of money, which he would deposit in bank. The Farmer used to take good care of the hen, and things were fine for years.

One fine day, the farmer was idle , he started thinking, "the hen that lay the egg, if I  tear it up I will get all the golden eggs at a time and I will grow rich faster", and so did he do, but alas he could not find any golden egg and cried at his own folly.

There are few Take aways from it, think :)
